Trailer Leasing
In a country comprising 7,100 islands and with no inter modal link like railways, trucks are a great necessity and so with trailers to move conatainerized cargoes. LMC maintains and operates a fleet of 377 units of skeletal trailer chassis of mixed sizes of 20's, 40's, convertibles and 45 footers. It's trailers are 100% purchased from the United States, Japan and Hongkong.
It has a depot with a lot area of 5,000 square meters approximately four (4) kilometers from Manila's International sea ports where these trailers are marshalled together with its truck tractor heads, forklifts and closed van trucks. It has its own repair crew and service vehicle to maintanin the upkeep and roadworthiness of its equipments.
In 1998, it received a Plaque of Excellence from a Sumitom affiliate company by bagging the Best Supplier Services Award. In 2003, LMC was the recipient of the Outstanding Operator awarded by the Safety Organization of the Philippines.
